Below is a selection of my work. Each project demonstrates my commitment to quality and innovative design.

Sitka Wayfinding Signage

Wayfinding signage needs to be stylish, yet easy to read and understand. I created this wayfinding solution for Sitka Apartments in Seattle while working at Waypoint Sign Co.

The Octopus Bar

The client asked for an octopus tentacle to be coming out of the wall showcasing the bar name. I sketched the tentacle and added the anchor and arrow for more interest. It was a big hit!

Northwest Bar Night Logo

I was asked to create a logo for an up-and-coming YouTube channel / vlog. The logo was created with a sports bar in mind, using popular Seattle sports colors.

Alta Wayfinding Signage

Another wayfinding design. This is one of the concepts I created for Alta Apartments. The interior designers had many round elements in their decorating. I used this as inspiration to create the Unit IDs for the apartment.

The Golden Beetle

Sometimes the direct approach is the best. I took the clients logo and did a straight translation into metal and neon. The result was a standout sign worthy of the restaurant.

Jellyfish Sculpture

I was tasked to create a unique piece for a club. They did not want it named, but wanted something from the sea. I worked up this concept to create a giant jellyfish with flowing tentacles and a glowing body. Sadly, this one was never made, but I would like to bring it to life someday.

Tropical Car Wash

Tropical Car Wash needed a new look. I played off of the tropical theme and created the parrot logo, holding a rag ready to scrub down the car.

Spectra at Marymoor

I designed the exterior signage around Spectra Apartments. The client wanted maximum visibility for their main signage. To accomplish this, I proposed wrapping the large letters around the curved corner of the building. Making this sign visible from two directions.

Taylor Shellfish

I was given the clients business card, which had a two-dimensional image of a crane on top of some piers with the business name. For the sign I thought about bringing the logo into realty. I found some faux wood pillars that were used to recreate the logo in 3 dimensions.

Ice-Burg

The Ice Burg Drive In in Walla Walla needed a new pole sign. I took their logo and identified areas to individually illuminate. They were looking for a traditional 50s style for the sign. To do this I used neon as a main focus of illumination.

Jake the Snake

Silverado Casino in Fernley Nevada was looking for new signage around their property. They have a mascot they called Jake the Snake. I started sketching the snake character in a more modern art style. It was proposed for the new signage and the client loved it.

Bamboo

This Viatnamese Restaurant was looking for a new sign for their business. I wanted to create a design that would stand out, and not just be another set of letters on the wall. I believe the results speak for themselves. This was made into a double side projecting sign to allow for better visibility on the busy street.

Chophouse Row

Main sign concept for small shopping center.

Golden Phoenix

When the Flamingo Hilton was sold in Reno, the client was unsure of what to call their new casino. They wanted to change the name but not spend a tom of money changing all the exterior signage and decorations. I proposed calling the new casino Phoenix. This was we can change the color of all the existing flamingo feather decorations into fire.

Loulay

When the Chef in the hat wanted to open their new restaurant in downtown Seattle, I was tasked with designing the new signage. Their logo was the business name framed inside a blue box. I enlarged the name beyond the frame giving their logo a more dynamic look.

US Travel

I designed a metal sculptural globe as a focal point of interest for this double sided, neon illuminated blade sign.

Wayfinding Signage

Barlow Instruments

I was tasked with making a new logo for a company that makes musical instruments.

Chukars Sports Casino

A new casino was looking for a logo to go with the name Chukars. A chukar is a game bird, which provided inspiration for this logo.

Alta Stone

Exterior signage for a Tacoma apartment building

Stonehedge Village

An exterior monument sign. Using architectural features of the apartment complex as inspiration.

Table Tents

A private lodge was looking for a design for drink recipes on some table tents.

Pin Design

Design for a custom pin for a lodge member.

Sage Lodge

A rustic sign design for a rustic Montana Lodge.
